A Dong Paint Joint Stock Company (ADP) was established in 1970 as one of the two largest manufacturers and dominated the southern market before 1975. In 2000, the company switched to operating under the joint stock company model. The company is a pioneer manufacturer of corrugated iron coating products (PCM) in Vietnam, holding the largest market share in the country. The company currently holds about 22% market share of PCM paints, 8% market share of marine and high-strength industrial paints, and 6% market share of oil-based decorative and construction paints.
