Central Hydropower Joint Stock Company (CHP) was established in 2004 on the basis of capital contribution from Power Company No.2, Power Company No.3, Hanoi Power Company and Power Construction Joint Stock Company No.1. The Company has its main business in the generation and trade of electricity. CHP is managing and operating A Luoi Hydropower Plant with a total assembling capacity of 170MW located in A Luoi district, Thua Thien Hue province.
