Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (DPM), formerly known as PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Company, was established in 2003. The company has a Phu My fertilizer factory located in Phu My Industrial Park 1 - Ba ria, Vung Tau. The plant has a total investment of US $ 370 million with an area of 63 hectares using the technology of Haldor Topsoe (Denmark) to produce ammonia (capacity of 1,350 tons/day) and the technology of Snamprogetti (Italy) to produce urea (capacity of 2,200 tons/day).
