Gia Lai Electricity Joint Stock Company (GEG), formerly known as Gia Lai - Kon Tum Hydropower Company, was established in June 1989. The Company has its main business in generating, transmitting, distributing and trading electricity. GEG has been put into operation under the model of a joint stock company since 2010. GEG has already directly invested and contributed its capital to construct 13 hydropower plants with a total capacity of 90 MW.
