Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Joint Stock Company (HEP), formerly known as Land Management and Public Works Division, was established in 1975. The Company has its business in environmental hygiene services, management, and maintenance of public works. HEP has been put into operation under the model of a joint-stock company since 2015. The Company collects, transports, and treats near 200 tons of waste per day, cleans more than 500km of roads, and dredges 190km of culverts, 9,500 manholes, and 600,000m2 of road shoulder and more than 515 km of the electric lighting network.
