Hue Water Supply Joint Stock Company (HWS), formerly known as Hue Treatment Water Plant, was established in 1909 with the main activities of trading in clean water for domestic use and bottled purified water. During its developing period, the Company merged and upgraded a range of clean water plants in Hue City, neighboring districts and towns in Thua Thien Hue Province. At present, the Company is running 30 water treatment plants with a total capacity of 200.000m3/day, supplying clean water for more than 1 million residents in the local province.
