Vietnam National Seed Group Joint Stock Company (NSC), formerly known as The National Seed Company No.1, was established in 1968. The Company has been put into operation under the model of a joint stock company since 2003. The main operation is to provide farmers seeds of rice, hybrid rice, corn and others. NSC is one of companies trading and exporting seeds in the top ranking in Vietnam. Every year, the company produces more than 125,000 tons of seeds (equivalent to nearly 32,000 hectares of seed production). NSC has been listed on Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE) since 2006.
