Industrial Gas and Welding Electrode Joint Stock Company (SVG), formerly known as Sovigaz Industrial Steam Company, was established in 1974 based on the merger between Vietnam S.O.A.E.O. and Vietnam Industrial Steam Company. SVG operated as a joint-stock company since 2014. The company's main business is manufacturing and trading industrial gases, medical gases, electric welding rods, and chemicals.
