The Vietnam National General Export - Import Joint Stock Company No.1 (TH1), formerly known as a state owned enterprise, established in 1981 with the initial name of General 1 Import and Export Company, belonging to the Foreign Trade Ministry. In May, 2006 the company converted to a Joint Stock Company with the main business activity is exporting and importing goods, accounting for 85% of total revenue.
