Vietnam Steel Corporation (TVN) was established from the merger of Vietnam Steel Corporation and Metal Corporation. The Company primarily operates in the production and trading of steel, as well as steel-related materials and equipment. TVN currently operates as a joint stock company with nearly 40 subsidiaries, affiliated companies, and directly managed units. At present, companies within the VNSTEEL system supply more than 50% of Vietnam's demand for construction steel and approximately 30% of domestic demand for cold-rolled steel.
