Vietnam Forest Corporation (Vinafor), formerly known as  Vietnam Forest Product Corporation, was established in 1995 through merging 10 state corporations and the association of enterprises under Ministry of Forestry (Now Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development). Vinafor has its major business in planting, caring, managing and processing forestry products. VietNam Forestry Corporation plants trees from 5,000 to 6,000 hectares on average.
