Southern Vietnam Container Shipping Joint Stock Company (VSG), formerly Container Company, was established in 1976. In 1999, the company was equitized. The main business includes maritime transport services, exploiting yards and warehouses in which revenue from sea transport accounts for about 80% of total revenue. Currently, the company has a shipping team including 3 ships with a total tonnage of 23,000 DWT and a yard system on an area of 80,000 m2.
